Invesis Advantage

A Reliable, Flexible Partner

Infrastructure investments are long-term by nature - and over 25, 30 and even 40 years, circumstances change. Invesis is structured to adapt: adjusting to new conditions, evolving client needs and the opportunities that emerge throughout the life of every asset.

Circumstances change. Invesis is built to adapt.

Meeting partner and client needs with flexibility

Invesis’s experience across more than 50 long-term investments has made us highly responsive at every stage of an asset’s lifecycle. We are able to take on different roles - as lead investor, co-investor or MSA provider - to suit the requirements of the client and the partners on a given project. As Chief Investment Officer David Swarbrick puts it: “We’re able to adapt to different roles to suit the needs of the client and the partners on a particular project.” This flexibility is built into the way we structure and manage investments from day one.

Maintaining flexibility throughout the asset lifecycle

The ability to adapt strengthens both the investment and the communities it serves. In the UK, judicial and public sector infrastructure is a good example - police organisations experience significant churn and reorganisation, and PPP contracts must reflect evolving needs. On a recent Irish Courts project, changes were made throughout the lifecycle to keep pace with energy requirements, sustainability improvements and practical changes of use. Invesis managed these changes collaboratively, without disruption to service delivery.

Finding innovative solutions to project variation

In 2024, the Invesis team won the Operational Partnerships Summit’s Innovation and Flexibility Award for developing and implementing an £11 million project variation at Wharfedale Hospital, as part of a hospital PPP concession with Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The variation expanded clinical capacity while reducing the hospital’s energy footprint - demonstrating that flexibility and sustainability go hand in hand. Invesis continues to manage the concession, ensuring quality and continuity throughout.
