Partnering with the NDFA to create modern co-educational post-primary schools across four Irish counties
Ireland's Department of Education and the NDFA commissioned the fourth bundle of the national Schools PPP Programme to replace outdated secondary school facilities across four communities. Several schools arose from amalgamations of existing institutions, creating new co-educational post-primary facilities for their areas.
In 2014, Invesis was appointed as sole investor under a 25-year DBFM contract. BAM Building delivered all construction and BAM FM Ireland provides facilities management. The four schools - St Joseph's Secondary School in Tulla, Co Clare (650 pupils), Skibbereen Community School in Co Cork (900 pupils), St Mary's College in Dundalk, Co Louth (900 pupils) and Comeragh College in Carrick-on-Suir, Co Tipperary (500 pupils) - all opened by May 2016. Concessions run until 2041.
