Partnering with Bridge Housing to address Sydney's housing needs through a landmark community housing programme
Sydney faces a significant and growing shortage of social and affordable housing, with thousands of households on waiting lists across the city. Invesis and Bridge Housing have come together to address this challenge through a new long-term partnership - combining Invesis's track record as a global infrastructure investor with Bridge Housing's four decades of experience delivering community housing for households on very low to moderate incomes.
Bridge Housing is a Tier One not-for-profit community housing provider managing over 3,900 properties and providing safe, secure and affordable homes for more than 5,700 residents across metropolitan Sydney. The collaboration, supported by Australian infrastructure consultants Capella Capital, will deliver hundreds of new homes for people who need them most, support local jobs and stimulate economic growth across Western Sydney.
The first project will deliver 174 new homes in Western Sydney, with construction due to begin in 2026.
