Sint Victor School in Turnhout is the pilot project for the Evara School Cluster - a three-school DBFM programme under the Flemish Government's wider schools initiative. The new 7,000m2 building replaces three ageing structures and brings kindergarten, primary and secondary pupils together in a purpose-built facility designed around wellbeing, energy efficiency and long-term sustainability.

Partnering with Evara to deliver the first school in a pioneering three-school cluster for Flanders
The Evara School Cluster brings together three schools across Flanders under a single DBFM framework - Sint Victor in Turnhout, Sint Laurens and KISP in Zelzate, and Styrka in Ghent. Sint Victor was selected as the pilot project, reaching Financial Close in December 2025 as the first of the three to begin construction.
Evara vzw selected the ABC BV consortium - comprising Invesis and Alheembouw (50% each) - under a 30-year DBFM contract. Vanderstraeten is delivering construction and BAM FM will provide facilities management across the concession.
The project involves the demolition of three existing buildings - including a historic monastery - and the renovation of the school's chapel, alongside the construction of a new 6,805m2, four-storey building accommodating kindergarten, primary and secondary pupils, administrative offices and new playgrounds. Construction is due to complete in April 2028, with handback in 2058.
