A59 Motorway
The A59 motorway converted a congested highway in Noord-Brabant into a full 2x2-lane motorway, eliminating bottlenecks that were pushing traffic through residential areas. Invesis led the Poort van den Bosch consortium, delivering the scheme in 2006 and managing operations until handback to the Province of Noord-Brabant in December 2020 - completing the full lifecycle of the concession.

Working with the Province of Noord-Brabant to transform a congested highway and complete a full-lifecycle PPP
The N59 highway between Rosmalen and Geffen in Noord-Brabant had become a significant bottleneck, with heavy traffic using residential streets as shortcuts to avoid congestion. The Province sought a partner to transform the road into a full-standard motorway and maintain it across a long-term concession.
In 2003, the Province of Noord-Brabant selected the Poort van den Bosch consortium - comprising Invesis (70%), Boskalis (20%) and Fluor Infrastructure (10%) - under a DBFM contract. BAM Civiel and BAM Wegen delivered construction, completed in December 2005. The scheme converted 9km of the N59 into the A59 motorway with five split-level crossings and four junctions.
Invesis managed the concession from 2006, with handback discussions beginning nearly five years ahead of the end date - ensuring a smooth, collaborative conclusion to the partnership. The A59 was successfully handed back in December 2020.
