Second Financial Close Reached for Evara Schools Cluster Project in Belgium

Invesis is pleased to announce the successful second financial close of the Evara schools cluster project, marking an important milestone in the development of a new educational campus for Sint Laurens College and KISP in Zelzate, Belgium.

Part of the wider Evara schools programme, the project will deliver a modern educational facility within a broader campus environment, supporting both secondary education and adult learning. The new campus will provide high-quality, future-ready learning spaces designed to meet the evolving needs of students, educators and the local community.

Representing an investment of approximately €25 million, construction is scheduled to commence in early June 2026, with the campus expected to be fully operational within 27 months.

The milestone was celebrated alongside project partners and stakeholders, including Alheembouw, Invesis‘ partner in the project company, financing partner KBC Bank, and representatives from Sint Laurens College and KISP.

This achievement follows the contract close reached in December 2025, when Invesis and Alheembouw signed agreements with Evara and KISP for the delivery of three new school campuses under a Design, Build, Finance and Maintain (DBFM) model: Sint-Victor in Turnhout, BuSO Styrka in Ghent, and Sint Laurens College/KISP in Zelzate.

Together, these projects will deliver approximately 17,500 m² of modern educational infrastructure, representing a combined investment of around €73 million.

The Evara schools cluster demonstrates how long-term partnerships and the DBFM model can support the delivery of sustainable, high-quality and future-proof educational environments across Flanders, creating lasting value for students, educators and local communities.
