Camden Schools

The London Borough of Camden Council – after receiving funding from central government to enter the national Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme – awarded Invesis the contract to build three new schools in the Borough of Camden, accommodating 2,930 students.

Derby Police Headquarters

Located at St Mary’s Wharf in Derby, the new Divisional Headquarters and City Section Station was Derbyshire Police Authority’s second PFI contract and involved the design, construction, finance, operation, and maintenance of a new purpose-built police station and Divisional HQ.

East Ayrshire Community Hospital

The Ayrshire and Arran Primary Care NHS Trust, located in Scotland, entered into an agreement with a consortium led by Invesis for the provision of a 98-bed Community Hospital in Cumnock, Ayrshire. The consortium designed, built, and financed the hospital and currently provides all non-clinical services.

The Trust was one of the first in the National Health Service to procure this type of contract as a PFI scheme. The aim was to create a single site Community Hospital which would meet the needs of the residents of Cumnock, Mauchline, and surrounding areas.

Cheshire Police Headquarters

Invesis and our partners transformed a greenfield site in Winsford, England, into a state-of-the-art police headquarters and training centre which operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The challenges of the modern-day criminal justice system demand that Britain’s police forces have the best technology, equipment, and facilities to enable them to deliver the most effective service to local communities.

For Cheshire Police Authority, changes in general approaches to policing across the country, coupled with a drive to improve the quality of service provided to the public, were the impetus behind their decision to replace their existing facilities.

Dalkeith Schools Community Campus

The Dalkeith Schools project consists of the design, construction, operation, maintenance, and financing of a Community Campus comprising three schools and central sports and leisure facilities for shared school and community use, accommodating more than 2,000 pupils.

The original buildings of Dalkeith High School and St David’s Roman Catholic High School were unable to meet the full curricular needs of a modern school adequately within their existing premises.

Site constraints at one of the schools and proposed new housing in the area led Midlothian Council to decide to relocate both the secondary schools and amalgamate the local Special Education Needs (SEN) schools to a new greenfield site on the edge of the town.
