Meet our expert, Matthew Bezanson

Work experience

Matt joined Invesis in 2023 as a Project Development Director based in the US. He is responsible for developing bids and closing secured transactions in the US. Matt is an infrastructure professional with nearly 20 years of experience in project development, finance, engineering, and management consulting. He has a wealth of experience with innovative delivery methods and as an infrastructure developer has closed more than $6 billion worth of privately financed infrastructure transactions.

Prior to joining Invesis, Matt was an Investment Director with Meridiam, a global infrastructure investment fund. He focused on US development activities to deploy equity investments in a variety of sectors including transportation, aviation, justice and educational facilities as well as various green energy sectors. Matt also has experience in management consulting with HNTB and Garver for government clients in transportation. His early career was started as a civil engineer in the transportation sector. Matt’s unique mix of experience provides a holistic perspective of all aspects of infrastructure delivery in the US.

Matt lives in Connecticut with his wife and three boys. He enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on his boys in all of their sports.
