The solution

Operations Manager, Eamon McKiernan, explained the background to the project.

„Alongside the delivery of the programme, a new partnership company was formed between Somerset County Council, BAM, and BSF Investments, established specifically for the delivery of the new schools and partnering services. The dedicated management team within this new company is responsible for the improvement of educational facilities and leveraging wider regeneration, socio-economic, and community and leisure opportunities.“

Invesis sponsored the project with BAM Construct UK, providing an integrated solution with BAM Construction as building contractor. BAM Facilities Management will provide facilities management services throughout the 25-year operational concession period and RM Education will provide the IT managed services to the schools.
