„A key objective was to make maximum use of space by including as many apartments as possible on the available space, taking into account the building height restrictions in place. Other criteria were flexibility, logical set up of the design, and architecturally fitting in the surroundings.“

The solution
Senior Project Manager Geert Deleebeeck outlined the background to the Ghent Student Accommodation project.
„The project encompassed 656 student apartments, a new university student restaurant seating approximately 400 students, and underground car parking.
Invesis worked on the project with Belgian company BAM Contractors as a construction partner. The maintenance contractors were Imtech Maintenance and ThyssenKrupp.
