Invesis colleagues visit our Availability Model – A10/A24 Neuruppin to AD Pankow concession in Germany

Invesis colleagues from across the business travelled to Berlin, Germany, for a jam-packed day of networking, team building and most importantly, fun. Every few years, our colleagues visit one of our concessions; this year, staff visited our Availability model – A10/A24 Neuruppin to AD motorway project and were given the opportunity to see the concession in action. The ‘away day’ was particularly special as it was our first full staff gathering as Invesis.

At Invesis, we feel that it is important for staff to visit our projects to really connect with our promise to ‘transform lives through sustainable infrastructure’. The A10 /A24 is a fantastic example of bringing that promise to life where upon completion the new road will substantially reduce travel times and improve road safety for years to come.

What is also remarkable is that the works will have been undertaken whilst keeping the road open to traffic throughout construction – and even more remarkable is that it will be completed ahead of schedule!! – something that the project team and all Invesis colleagues should be proud of.

Our German colleagues and the A10/A24 team, put together an exciting agenda for staff consisting of informative presentations, an operational and maintenance equipment tour and a trip to the motorway to view the new stretch of road.

The A10/A24 AS Neuruppin to AD Pankow project, is the first of 11 projects of the so-called ‘new generation’ wave of infrastructure PPP projects that was launched by the German Ministry of Transport and DEGES in 2015. It is Brandenburg’s largest federal motorway project and as one of the busiest roads in the region, the benefits to come from the project will include reduced travel times, improved road safety and enhanced road capacity. Construction of Brandenburg’s largest federal motorway is almost complete – works should come to a close by the end of 2022, where the project will move into the operational phase.
