Positive momentum for PPP in Ireland

  • PPP projects are being delivered on time and on budget
  • Long-term performance and asset quality remain high
  • A consistent focus on value for money continues to underpin delivery

At Invesis, we are incredibly proud to have played a major role in supporting the development and delivery of 10 social and transport PPP infrastructure projects across Ireland — including the M1 Dundalk Western Bypass, the N25 New Ross Bypass, and major education programmes such as Schools Bundle 3 and Schools Bundle 4. These outcomes reflect the strength of the PPP model when structured and managed effectively — aligning public and private sector expertise to deliver reliable, high-quality infrastructure.

As the first generation of PPP projects approaches handback, it’s encouraging to see continued confidence in both performance and lifecycle management. This is a timely reminder of the long-term value PPP can deliver — not only at financial close, but throughout the full asset lifecycle.

Invesis, as a long-term investor and developer, has successfully handed back three projects across Europe: the N31 Highway, the A59 Motorway in the Netherlands, and East Ayrshire Community Hospital in the UK.
