Through its Sustainability Fund, Invesis supports environmental and social initiatives that create meaningful, long-term value across the communities connected to its operational assets. Recent projects in Germany highlight how this commitment translates into tangible benefits for both people and the environment.
At the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UHSH), Invesis has supported the UHSH Friends and Supporters Association to advance the hospital’s “Doing Good!” initiatives. This support is helping to fund a vein finder for paediatric care—an infrared device that enables medical staff to locate veins in newborns and young children more quickly and safely. By reducing the need for multiple punctures, the technology helps to lower stress and discomfort for young patients and their families, while improving safety and care quality across paediatric surgery, emergency care and general paediatrics. Additional support was provided without restrictions, allowing UHSH the flexibility to address patient care needs where they are most urgent.

Alongside healthcare, Invesis’ Sustainability Fund also supports environmental stewardship linked to its infrastructure assets. At the A8 motorway project in southern Germany, a long-standing partnership with local farmers Reinhard and Brigit Haag plays an important role in responsible land management and biodiversity. Cattle grazing on motorway-adjacent land helps maintain green corridors while supporting local agricultural livelihoods. In recognition of this collaboration, Invesis has contributed to essential costs related to animal care, including feed, fencing and transport.

Together, these initiatives demonstrate how Invesis’ Sustainability Fund enables locally tailored support that responds to real needs—whether improving child-friendly healthcare or strengthening sustainable land use practices. By working closely with trusted partners, Invesis aims to ensure that its infrastructure assets deliver positive social and environmental impact throughout their lifecycle, creating lasting value for the communities they serve.
