Invesis and partner Alheembouw are pleased to announce the successful contract close for Three New School Campuses in Flanders with our client vzw Evara (formerly called Broeders van Liefde) – vzw KISP, marking the official start of the construction phase.
The projects will deliver modern, inclusive and future-ready educational facilities for:
- Sint-Victor in Turnhout
- BuSO Styrka in Ghent
- Sint-Laurens / KISP in Zelzate
Together, the developments represent approximately 17,500 m² of high-quality learning environments, with a total estimated investment value of €73 million.
Reaching contract close represents a significant milestone, transitioning the projects from planning into execution. Delivered through the DBFM (Design, Build, Finance and Maintain) model, the collaboration between Invesis, vzw Evara and Alheembouw, and the full design and delivery team, ensures long-term quality, efficiency and continuity throughout the buildings’ lifecycle.
The client structure is supported by vzw Evara, vzw KISP, AGION and School Invest. Within the DBFM framework, the Invesis Alheembouw consortium assumes responsibility for the integrated delivery of the projects, including 30 years of maintenance across all three campuses.
Construction works will be carried out by Alheembouw and Vanderstraeten, while long-term facilities management and maintenance will be provided by BAM FM and Alheembouw over the 30-year operational period.
Design and engineering are delivered by a multidisciplinary team consisting of A2O architects, B2Ai architects, Riessauw Engineering, SDK Engineering, EOS Acoustics and Groep Infrabo, ensuring a holistic and sustainable approach to educational infrastructure.
By adopting the DBFM model, the projects embed quality, reliability and value for money from design through to long-term operation. Invesis and Alheembouw look forward to continuing this strong and collaborative partnership with all stakeholders involved.
