The new school, which will be handed over on March 18th, will accommodate 1,000 pupils (mixed girls and boys). The school comprises a ground floor area of 10,000sq.m and includes general teaching accommodation, specialist classrooms and workshops, physical education hall and ancillary areas, hard play courts, playing pitches and car parking spaces.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times New Roman; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times New Roman; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial', 'sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial', 'sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d;\">Tramore Community School is part of the Public Private Partnership (PPP) contract that BAM PPP signed with the National Development Finance Agency (NDFA) in November 2012 for the design, build and finance a of eight schools across Ireland, and maintaining them for a 25 year period<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times New Roman; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times New Roman; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial', 'sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial', 'sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d;\">Speaking at the event, Liam Roche General Manager with BAM PPP said: <i>&#8220;BAM is pleased to welcome Minister Quinn to Tramore Community School, a facility which will greatly enhance educational infrastructure in the region. Investment in our educational resources is an investment in the future of the country and the state-of-the-art school in Tramore provides the best possible facilities for both students and teachers. This is one of eight schools which BAM is delivering across Ireland over the next few months as part of the Schools Bundle 3 PPP project and I am proud to say that each school will be completed within budget and on time.&#8221; <\/i><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times New Roman; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,Times New Roman; font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial', 'sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial', 'sans-serif'; color: #5d5d5d;\">Other schools developed as part of this SB3 PPP project are located in Donegal (Letterkenny), Galway (Doughiska), Leitrim (Ballinamore), Limerick (Doon), Westmeath (Athlone) and Wexford (Gorey).
