One hundred and seventy-four households in Western Sydney will experience housing stability thanks to funding secured by Bridge Housing through the Housing Australia Future Fund Facility (HAFFF) and the National Housing Accord Facility (NHAF).<\/p>\n
Housing Australia is delivering this essential funding pipeline to make positive generational change to Australia\u2019s housing supply.<\/p>\n
As an award-winning community housing provider, Bridge will provide social and affordable housing to people on low to moderate incomes who are in rental stress. The project is supported by Housing Australia, ensuring a strong funding pipeline that creates generational change in housing supply across Australia.<\/p>\n

\u201cThrough the HAFFF and NHAF and strong partnerships, Housing Australia is proud to be part of the solution to the acute shortage of social and affordable homes across the country, including Merrylands in Sydney\u2019s west.<\/em><\/p>\n Bridge\u2019s CEO Laurie Leigh applauded this vital step towards solving unmet housing need in Sydney\u2019s West:<\/p>\n “With over 12% of the local population in need of affordable housing, this is a transformational project for Western Sydney* This new social and affordable housing will help to rebalance housing supply and provide much-needed stability and hope.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cWe look forward to welcoming 174 households, including key workers and women impacted by family violence and older women at risk of homelessness into the Bridge Housing community.
